with USL_Addons enabled using the JGSME Mod enabler.

History
Most of the members of AG26 have been flying various flight simulations since the advent of the personal computer. This group has also maintained an online presence since the days of ‘Red Baron’ and ‘European Air Wars’ in different squadrons, flying as German, Axis and Allied pilots. In our most previous incarnation we flew as JG26 for the Axis in European Air Wars, IL2-Sturmovik and IL2-Forgotten Battles.

Current Mission
AG26 strives to re-enact the combat and missions of various nationality pilots during World War II. We do this by running our unit in a military-like fashion. We adhere to standard military doctrines in regards to protocol and policies, as well as the conduct of our pilots and officers. Our members receive "rank" that places them within the structure of our unit, and like real military units, all pilots of AG26 are required to follow the orders of any senior ranking pilot or officer while flying combat missions. Each pilot of AG26 also has the honor of receiving decorations according to his conduct and prowess in the air against the enemy during the battles we fly.

With that said, understand that we are also a group of individuals who enjoy flying online and flight combat simulations in general. For most of us, this unit and the missions we fly provide a great deal of fun and comradeship welding us into a tight knit flying group. Many of us have been together for years, and there are several of us who are "old timers". We do this as a hobby and for enjoyment. Everything we do is for fun... and while we do adhere to military protocol, it is not at the behest of the enjoyment of our missions.
"Fun" is the first and foremost goal in AG 26!

We routinely engage in what we call "AI Wars". To explain: An AI War is where we fly missions against the Artificial Intelligence pilots in the game. In other words, only AG26 pilots fly the missions... and we all fly as a single nationality against computer controlled enemy planes. These AI Wars are great fun, and are easy to fly because we aren't restricted by the availability of other online units. This does not mean, however, that we don’t also participate in online wars involving real time players. We have flown several of those as well, in this and other games, and enjoyed them.

AG26 is primarily an adult only unit. If the "mature" and "military-like" atmosphere is not the type of game you enjoy, then please refrain from enlisting with us. If, on the other hand, you are ready for that type of atmosphere, and are tired of dealing with the "less mature" crowd that unfortunately sometimes is encountered while online, then perhaps AG26 is the unit for you.
